Setting up, controlling and optimising a Wi-Fi and home network with ease

Routers, repeaters and Powerline adapters: Now you can find all important functions and settings of the products in one location. The app is focussed on making it easy to set up Wi-Fi and a home network. Special emphasis was placed on having an intuitive interface which all users will have no trouble operating. The Wi-Fi is set up in no time. A practical wizard helps you configure all the settings and thereby ensures optimal Wi-Fi coverage for the entire home. Both the speedtest and the advanced settings to switch on speeds shown in network overview will help you see whether the full power of your Internet connection is being effectively distributed throughout your home.

Note: After updating your dLAN 550 WiFi, dLAN 550+ WiFi or dLAN 1200+ WiFi ac adapter via the devolo Cockpit, you can also control these components of your home network via the devolo Home Network App.

Measure Wi-Fi signal strength in different rooms

With the Wi-Fi signal strength tool, you can measure how strong your Wi-Fi signal is in different areas of your home. This built-in tool in the app’s network manager displays the current Wi-Fi signal strength of your device on a scale from 0% (poor) to 100% (good).

The measurement helps you identify dead zones or areas with weak connections. Thanks to the save function, you can record different rooms to get a detailed overview of your Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home. The Wi-Fi signal strength tool helps you find the ideal position for your repeater or Magic WiFi Powerline adapter, ensuring a stable connection in every room.

Note that the Wi-Fi signal strength measurement tool is exclusively available for Android and HarmonyOS devices, as iOS restrictions prevent access to these signal metrics.

Clients list feature

The Clients list feature allows you to monitor devices connected to your network. This tool can be particularly useful during vacations to check for unauthorized devices, such as hidden cameras, or to ensure that the guest Wi-Fi at your accommodation is properly isolated from other guests, enhancing your privacy and security.
