The Magic 2 WiFi next Powerline adapter takes your home internet to a new level. The full power of your internet connection is transmitted directly through the power line to every room, thanks to excellent powerline technology with speeds of up to 2400 Mbps. This turns every socket into a potential Access Point for powerful multi-room Wi-Fi.

No matter how many devices you or your loved ones are online with: thanks to Multi-User MIMO technology, multiple devices are supplied simultaneously with higher data throughput. For maximum connectivity, the Magic 2 WiFi next is also equipped with two additional Gigabit LAN ports.

Compatible and expandable at any time with all adapters from the devolo Magic series. devolo adapters from the dLAN series are not supported.

Multi-User MIMO Technology

Most of the time, you use multiple devices in your Wi-Fi network, such as smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, or gaming consoles. This poses a challenge for your Wi-Fi network – it must manage the distribution of data streams from the Wi-Fi access point (e.g., router, devolo device) to the end devices. If you use a Wi-Fi access point with Multi-User MIMO technology, you don't have to worry about this. By utilizing Multi-User MIMO technology, your devolo device simultaneously provides your smartphone, tablet, and other devices with data streams – at optimal speed and with efficient data throughput.

What does this mean for you? With Multi-User MIMO technology, long wait times during online gaming, sporadic interruptions during HD streaming, or slow download speeds are a thing of the past.

Access Point Steering

In many Wi-Fi networks, devices independently determine which network to connect to. Older smartphones, tablets, and similar devices tend to stick to their Wi-Fi access point (Access Point, e.g., router, devolo device) until the Wi-Fi signal drops – only then do they switch to a Wi-Fi access point with a better signal.

The feature Access Point Steering enhances your Wi-Fi access point with intelligent network optimization. It actively assists your devices in connecting to the optimal access point within the network. If the Wi-Fi access point detects another access point with a stronger signal and better reception within the network, it automatically redirects the device to that access point.
