The Magic 2 LAN triple socket adapter features three Gigabit LAN ports with a maximum speed of 2400 Mbps. In the starter kit version, you can set up your new Powerline network with the adapter. However, the Magic 2 LAN triple can also expand an existing network. This makes a LAN switch in your home office or living room unnecessary.

Compatible and expandable at any time with all adapters in the devolo Magic series. devolo adapters from the dLAN series are not supported.

Three Ports for Your Multimedia Center

With the Magic 2 LAN triple adapter featuring three Gigabit LAN ports, a single power outlet adapter is more than enough to connect your entire multimedia center in the living room to the internet. Signal interference? – This is rarely an issue in a Powerline network (especially compared to a regular WiFi connection).

Installation

To set up a powerline network, you need two adapters. Each Magic Starter Kit includes two plug adapters. You connect the Basic adapter directly to your router using the included LAN cable. It transmits the internet signal through your electrical wiring.

The second adapter – and as many additional ones as you like – can be plugged into any outlet in your home, where it will retrieve the internet signal. Your powerline network is now ready, allowing you to surf with stable high-speed internet wherever you need it.

Any Expansion

All good things come in threes – especially when you want to set up or expand a super-fast powerline network at home. The Magic adapters from devolo are not only fast but also easy to install via plug-and-play: just find a free socket, plug it in, and the adapter will automatically connect to your existing powerline network. Enjoy relaxed surfing! Where? In any room – as long as there is a socket available.

Why Powerline?

A home network without a Powerline component typically looks like this: There is a router in the house that sends out a WiFi signal. There may also be a WiFi repeater and a second LAN connection in another room.

However, for many internet applications, this architecture is simply not sufficient – at least not in every room. Especially with thick walls and across multiple floors, the WiFi network often falls short of its potential. The speed decreases rapidly the further the user is from the router or repeater, leading to connection drops.
