What is Beamforming?
If a WiFi signal is transmitted in a circular pattern in all directions, it covers a large area but can be inefficient. Through beamforming, the access point dynamically adjusts the signal across multiple antennas for different clients and determines the optimal path that the signal must take to reach each device.
This has clear advantages: Beamforming increases the range and quality of the WiFi signal and enhances the overall efficiency of data transmission. At the same time, there tend to be fewer signal interferences between different devices, as the signals are sent more directly and overlap less.
