New devolo Home Control app now available: faster, more convenient − native


Users of devolo Home Control can now enjoy a completely new app that puts many customers‘ requests into action and offers numerous new functions. The native app with the new name "Home Control" is now available for iOS and Android users. It is and will remain free to download and use.

Intuitive user interface

Smart home and smartphone grow together with the new devolo Home Control app. The new app has a completely overhauled design and offers a layout and operation tailored to the respective operating system. This way, users of both iOS and Android have an intuitive operating experience. User friendliness came first in the development of the new Home Control app.

The most important new functions

You can now complete initial setup, including pairing and device installation, using the Home Control app. In addition, it is possible to configure Home Control components entirely with the new app. Other innovations include the convenient display of statistics with a zoom function as well as the display of push messages with direct jump to the respective function. Another highlight: the response speed of the new app has been significantly increased and is now super-fast.

devolo Home Control: Continuous updates

Aachen, Germany-based devolo AG remains true to its promise with both hardware and software: Home Control receives in-depth support and the new functions are being added constantly. Soon a total of 15 different German-developed Home Control components will be available for the Smart Home. Continuous software updates expand the functionality and operating convenience of devolo Home Control.

With devolo, it‘s possible to get started in the smart home world cost-effectively: A devolo Home Control Starter Pack consisting of Central Unit, Door/Window Contact and Smart Metering Plug is already available at a suggested retail price of 219.90 euros. No monthly service charges are incurred for using the hardware and software.
