The dLAN®-WLAN access point: dLAN® 200 AVpro Wireless N
The dLAN® 200 AVpro Wireless N is the professional variant of the dLAN® 200 AV Wireless N. By means of WLAN functionality and triple Ethernet interfaces, the compact dLAN® adapter connects all network-compatible devices within the area of a building. Since the connection is made via Powerline, areas which have no conventional IT wiring are integrated quickly and flexibly. The dLAN® 200 AVpro Wireless N is also suitable for additional integration into existing networks, for example as a WLAN hotspot in heavily frequented areas of the company. Unlike the dLAN® products for home users, the dLAN® 200 AVpro Wireless N offers a comprehensive remote management configuration of its functions, such as the differentiated access to various user groups and the establishment of virtual networks through support for multi-SSID and VLAN.

In addition to the building-wide provision of broadband Internet, devolo‘s new development is ideal for implementing multimedia networks (IPTV, HDTV), building automation, connecting network-compatible terminal devices and for use as a smart metering gateway for energy data transmission.

Satellite TV via the power line: devolo presents the second dLAN® TV Sat generation
In addition to the dLAN® PROFESSIONAL products, devolo will also be showing the second generation of the devolo dLAN® TV Sat system at the CeBIT 2012. The use of a Powerline connection enables satellite TV reception throughout the home without routing cables, as the picture and sound transmission takes place via the household power line. This means HDTV programmes get to every room of the building with a high-resolution picture without the trouble of routing cables.devolo‘s dLAN® TV Sat 2400-CI+ consists of a high-performance Full HD-capable satellite receiver to the DVB-S2 standard and a separate tuner for installation near the satellite antenna or multiswitch. Thanks to HDMI, the receiver offers excellent image quality in full HD resolution (1080p). Once the user integrates a CI+ module, the new dLAN® TV Sat receiver is equipped to receive pay TV programming. By supporting the teletext successor HbbTV, dLAN® TV Sat 2400-CI+ offers the user a significant added plus in terms of information and entertainment. News and additional contents for the television channel supplement the TV station‘s programming and consequently represent a genuine added value.
"Shutting off analogue satellite television at the end of April 2012 creates a high demand in this segment, in which the specialist stores in particular will gain with their consulting skills," explains Heiko Harbers, CEO of devolo AG.
