High-speed Internet and triple play are the most popular applications in the telecommunications industry. However, triple play service can be implemented at the customer's location only if the broadband Internet connection is available from any location in the building. Though there is a lot of propaganda for WLAN, in a building with a typical interior, this technology fails after a few meters or offers inadequate data transmission, which would lead to customer dissatisfaction and an increased need for support.
